As a family man, father of two, and an executive in Silicon Valley, California, who has worked for publicly traded and private companies, startups, and as a consultant for domestic and international companies, the driving question for me was, “What is next?”
This is when I decided to do things a bit differently.
I see so many unsafe, low quality products entering our market that I decided to figure out how to come up with products that are so safe and so durable that I can plug them in my kids’ room and feel safe about it.

Or, have them be rough with the products and not have the products fall apart easily. I also wanted these products to be ethically built.
My passion has always been helping others and helping the ones that cannot help themselves: young kids and elderly who both deserve more.
zutBe was born for the exact same reasons: to build products that are safe and durable, and have a purpose.
The purpose is to help others and donate to different causes that I care about and you care about. zutBe is not just a widget, or just a product, but it is a tool to help others. Join me in making a difference.

I have been involved in the tech industry mastering many different roles in marketing, employee development, event management, and sales with numerous successful consumer electronics companies.
I have never felt totally comfortable about marketing and selling these given products. My job was always to sell without considering what the customer's wishes and needs were.
That changed when zutBe was formed.

My goal was to challenge myself to bring products that are based on customer needs and safety first. Not profit first.

Growing up, going to school, and working in the heart of Silicon Valley, I’ve had the pleasure of conducting business development with some amazing companies.
As a result, I learned about different cultures and opened my eyes to new ways of approaching problems and achieving objectives.
I am thankful to those coworkers and family members who have supported me all these years. Through this experience I found my passion for developing processes. As a process guy, my objective is to ensure we have customer-friendly, hassle-free experiences. People have come to just expect poor customer service when dealing with a manufacturer.

Why zutBe? Besides giving me the opportunity to work with fantastically talented and caring people, zutBe provides me the opportunity to help bring focus to causes that are important to me.
My grandfather was a WWII veteran and sought care at the local VA hospital. This experience opened my eyes to what it really means to serve and sacrifice for our country. I zutBe for them.

I've found that the world around us, the communities we thrive in, and the people that join us on our life's journey uniquely power my foundational passion and work.
You'll find me designing digital marketing experiences by profession and crafting personalized yoga & mindfulness programs by trade. It's a blend that's has proven to be extremely rewarding and humbling. Yet, a question I consistently ponder is how we can drive greater service for the people we are connected to including even those we haven't yet met.

Like water or medical care, it's often the every-day objects or services that we take for granted. We can begin today to recognize the origin of our products, the danger unethical factory practices have on locals, and the steep safety risks inherent in uncertified electronics. Left alone, we're not only hurting our families, but the real humans manufacturing the products themselves.
It's a new area for me, but I see zutBe's development of products that have been rigorously researched, ethically built, and structured to give back to a cause as a strong compliment to my existing practice. While the causes are what initially drew me in, thanks to the team, I'm now able to recognize the holistic picture.

As a person who has worked in China for the manufacturing industry of consumer electronics for 10+ years, I deeply understand that it is easy to make a cheap product, but it is not easy to make a good product.
At zutBe, we are not only working from the perspective of a product manufacturer, but also observe through the lens of a consumer who has the highest expectations of safety and convenience in their life.

Life is all about connections.
The connections we make between each other as humans and the technologies we use to connect us to each other. Often times it's the smallest thing that keeps us from reaching each other. We start to panic when a charging cable frays or a charger stops working at the airport because we lose that connection to each other.
We have built zutBe to maintain those connections and to build new ones through efforts our company is fully committed to achieving.

I've had the pleasure and honor or working with some of the smartest people in the business. And my peers at zutBe are the cream of that crop.They genuinely care about not just the products we are bringing to market but the people that we're going to be selling these products to.
That to me makes all the difference in the world.
I'm a single dad to a teenage daughter in this crazy world. I rely on technology and its ability to connect me with those I love every day, and that connection extends to the customers I serve. It's a guiding force of mine for the direction of zutBe.
